Classroom 2000 (C2k)
Classroom 2000 (or C2k) is the Northern Ireland-wide information and communications network operated on behalf of the five Education and Library Boards in the province. C2k is responsible for providing all schools in Northern Ireland with internet and other services to support the Northern Irish Curriculum.
Classroom 2000 provides hosting services for primary and secondary schools in Northern Ireland. I have worked with C2k to provide services to both primary and secondary schools with web services using both the free and paid-for services.

Moodle Online Learning System
Moodle is an open source virtual learning environment designed for use in schools, colleges and universities.
A virtual learning environment (VLE) is a software system designed to support teaching and learning in an educational setting. A VLE will normally work over the Internet and provide a collection of tools such as those for assessment, communication, uploading of content, return of students' work, peer assessment, administration of student groups, collecting and organising student grades, questionnaires, tracking tools, etc. Moodle also includes features such as wikis, blogs, and galleries.
